Advantages

1. The cost of spheroidizing cored wire is 10% lower than that of spheroidizing agent. A roll of spheroidized cored wire (2400 meters) needs about 24 meters to process 1 ton. One roll can hold 100 tons of molten iron. One ton of nodulizer can handle 83 tons of molten iron.

2. Spheroidized cored wire does not require manual filling and weighing processes, saving labor costs.

3. There is a dam at the bottom of the nodulizer nodulizer bag. After more than a dozen furnaces, it needs to be processed manually once. It requires half the manual labor and requires no core wire.

4. All the data of the feeding of the spheroidizing cored wire have been set and do not need to be changed at any time. Nodulizers require manual operation and are prone to errors. The use of spheroidized cored wire avoids losses caused by human errors.

5. Feed spheroidizing cored wire is convenient for dust collection (smoke and dust are all sucked away during processing at the spheroidizing station), and the pollution degree is far less than that of the spheroidizing agent, which is more in line with the national environmental protection policy.

6. After spheroidization, the degree of spheroidization is high, the roundness of graphite balls is higher, and the amount of graphite is more.

Disadvantages:

1. The time from spheroidizing the cored wire to spheroidizing should not exceed 13 minutes. Therefore, compared with the spheroidizing pouring time of the spheroidizing agent, the spheroidizing cored wire needs more precise control time.

2. Castings made of spheroidized cored wire are prone to pinholes and shrinkage. The reason is caused by the higher magnesium content. Therefore, select the appropriate magnesium content spheroidized cored wire according to the casting production situation.
