 In order to improve the solubility of the calcium-aluminum cored wire in molten steel, control the reaction speed, and prevent the splashing of molten steel caused by excessive reaction, passivated metal calcium powder and metal aluminum powder are used as the core material of the cored wire, and aluminum steel strip is used as the sheath , the adopted passivation metal calcium powder and metal aluminum powder account for 55%-65% and 35%-45% of the core material respectively by weight. The aluminum steel strip adopts 08 aluminum steel strip with a thickness of 0.4 legs and a width of 55. The calcium-aluminum wire is processed and manufactured in this way. First, the passivated metal calcium powder and metal aluminum powder are fed and mixed at the same time according to the above ratio, so that the passivated metal calcium powder and metal aluminum powder are evenly mixed into a core material, and then the core material is mixed on the wire wrapping machine. The core material is evenly added to the 08 aluminum-steel strip, wrapped with the aluminum-steel strip and the core material is compacted, and finally rolled into a linear finished product.


Calcium-aluminum cored wire uses metal calcium powder and metal aluminum powder as the core material of the cored wire. Because it is a combination of calcium and aluminum elements with excellent affinity for oxygen, it has good deoxidation performance. When the molten steel is deeply deoxidized in the form of a cored wire, since calcium and aluminum are added to the molten steel at the same time, especially calcium is added to the aluminum-rich region. Therefore, the saturation of calcium (that is, the yield of calcium) can be greatly increased, and their deoxidized substances can be immediately formed into calcium aluminate which is liquid under the temperature of molten steel. Therefore, it can not only carry out strong deoxidation and incidental desulfurization of molten steel, but also keep the oxide cleanliness of molten steel unaffected. Therefore, it can be used to improve the castability of aluminum-killed steels such as thin strip and automotive steels
